Simple Phonics is a simple app to help your child become familiar with the phonetic pronunciation of the letters of the alphabet. Free from distraction or complex game rules the child can simply touch the letters of the alphabet to hear the letters pronounced and see an object or animal that starts with that letter sound.

With over 100 images your child will see a variety of objects that start with the basic phonic sounds of the english alphabet.

To get the most from this app try playing some simple games with your child, start by asking them if they can find a particular sound or image or letter or ask them which letter sounds like “mmmm”.

When theyve gotten the hang of that, ask them which sound a word starts with, e.g ‘Which sound does Elephant start with?’
